We only had beverages. The service was excellent. We didn't have anything to eat, but I don't want less than an excellent score to be shown. The tables around us had wonderful looking food. View all feedback.
What Alex W doesn't like about Mariachis Tequila:
This place was not even close to what we expected, very disappointing, made us wait for about 45 minutes and food was poorly constructed. Taste okay nothing spectacular for the amount we got charge...beware when traveling to Rocky point when low season, locals seem to take advantage when charging. I don't mind paying a bit more if great food or service because is always about the experience for me. View all feedback.
Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
This place has excellent food. Have been there twice and both times food was awesome and so ate the mango margaritas. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Disappointed at best. Mediocre fajitas, tiny burrito for high end restaurant prices. You can do so much better for less in beautiful puerto peñasco. Maybe everyone comes here for the drinks but I am not impressed and feel ripped off. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
Servicio medio lento mal Sabor más menos Precios altos para comprarle con locales
Food was delicious. We ordered the 2 person platter which had pork chop, beef short ribs, chicken, and shrimp plus vegetables all grilled served on a lava rock. It came out sizzling. The meat came with all the sides: your choice l of flour or corn tortillas, guac, cucumbers, green salsa, grilled green onions, and boiling cheese with Mexican sausage. The 2 girls ordered from the kids menu: chicken pasta, chicken nuggets w fries, and chicken chesidilla. Ordered a virgin and regular mango margaritas: both delicious. Mexico still serves the best margaritas, learned that they only use Blue Acave Tiquila. I specially like the Blanca, very smooth. The ambiance of the restaurant is very clean, welcoming, authentic building, paintings, and art decor of its Mexican culture. There is a second floor/roof top dining. Perfect for warmer weather. Hector, our serve was very knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and efficient. The bathroom are single stalls in the back of the room and very clean. Due to the border closing and we went on the 2nd week of the border re-opening, we finally got a table. The 3 previous times we've been here they are always crowded. The restaurant is located in Rodeo Drive, with lots of shops perfect for souvenirs. Perfect for building an appetite or burning calories post meal. Will definitely come back and try other foods in the menu.
