Italian Carolina - Puerto Jimenez

My best friend and I stayed over a week in puerto jimenez, and this restaurant was our favorite in the city! we have eaten three times here and we have always eaten. if they decide here, they must use their Spanish, because English is not always spoken easily. Finally, we were surprised how many different types of food are available, from Italian food like spaghetti, costa rican casados, to hamburger. and there are some vegetarian options!

A big big five. The restaurant is very good and super friendly people.

This is one of the cheaper places in the area, and you're going to know it. Lots of little bits in the room were not ideal... shower water not heating, sink not working properly, etc. It was workable, you're in the Osa, you've got to be flexible. Cold A/C and very helpful staff made up for it. We missed breakfast twice and the owner let us get a basic dinner instead, which was much appreciated. Very easygoing folks there.

We had a nice pasta dinner with home cooked fresh pasta sauce, service was also good. would recommend if they are in the city.

Eating was great, cook anyway know what he does, but the prices were more than on the menu for several items and then the control on the tip meant that the meal was like 35% more than expected.
