We came here based on TA review for an authentic place. Meat was just amazing and it came with fresh fries and the best grilled veggies we ever had. Price was in line with European standard but Argentina isn't cheap... Recommended View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Restaurante La Vitrina:
Mostly locals at this restaurant. Staff were friendly with the little english that was spoken. Food was very average. It may have been due to what we ordered (carne degustation- do not order it, meat was tough & overcooked & poor cuts). Nothing special, probably wont return. View all feedback.

After several dinners on Cordoba street just couple of minutes walk we find this parillada. It opens after 7 p.m. but is worth to wait. We have " limo" and beef ribs and it was one of the best in respect of taste and size we have in Argentina. Moreover price was resonable ( 400 peso with bottle of vine for two)
We got there with some Brazilian friends, there was nobody in the restaurant, the pit was not on ...we order a bottle of wine that was at least 75 degrees ..(warm) and we gave it a chance....wrong the empanadas were at best average..runny chopped meat( ground) and runny...the Tabla de Fiambres was nothing more than 3 pieces of bad salami and cubes od mortadela...just bad....we walked out and paid the bill....ended in another place in Iguazu...go to la Rueda...much better place and dont believe the pictures ....
We walked past this restaurant as we were exploring the town and noticed the outdoors grill (parilla). We decided to check the place out hoping for that smoky bbq flavoured meat and were not disappointed. The meat is delicious, straight from the grill and cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is spacious, with air conditioning and wifi. The service was attentive, but not over the top which can sometimes spoil the experience.Tips: ask for a vine menu seperately. A portion if chips can easily be shared betweent two people as a side (huge).Try the the Chimichurri sauce with your meat, you won't be dissapointed.Very recommended.
