This is a fun place to come to. Unpretentious, relaxed, and if you have time and the place is not busy you can have a nice conversation with the old man who most likely will be your host/server. View all feedback.
I am terribly sorry to be unable to join the cheers about this restaurant. To me, it seems like many people are charmed by the guy taking care of the customers and that the reviews thus are not so much about the actual food. The food was alright but not more than that. But what brought down our experience were a couple of things:1) The prices. All restaurants in Puerto Iguazu are overpriced and this joint is no exception. 2) The limited menu. There seem to be loads of food to choose from at a glance, but we were then told that we could choose between four different dishes. Disappointed.3) The food is simply not that good, in spite of the overwhelming references that you can find here on TripAdvisor. The man who runs this place is also very happy about his own restaurant and will not miss any chance to inform you about this.I was not impressed by the overcooked pasta I got and the size of the portion was ungenerous. Finally the starters (prawns) were too salty but although with perfect structure, I'll admit that.

Had an early dinner here in this charming family run restaurant. Alberto is a theatrical maitre'd with his presentation of the days specials being both informative and amusing. His wife (referred to as my lady) is the chef and prepared a feast for us including grape fondue with marscepone stuffed grapes, in a blue cheese sauce, shrimps saluted in garlic, followed by pork shoulder with orange or superb rump steak. Desserts of tiramisu or Crame caramel along with beautiful argentine wines made for a great night.
Had a wonderful night.Family run restaurant, unusual eclectic decore, Alberto the owner/maitre d was a ripper. Quirky and entertaining he basically told us what to order. The food was amazing, rump steak was perfect, others ate local fish or pork.Followed by share servings of dessert. His wine recommendations were spot on too.All in all highly recommended, great food and friendly over the top service.
The night started slowly with no water and or wine for 10 minutes. The sole waiter was very charming and grows on you. Very friendly and funny. The food, especially the pacu, was spectacular. And the wine excellent. Great night but very deliberate.
