Recommended by our taxi driver it is a nice enough place for lunch or dinner. It aspires to be a fine dining place and for Iguazú maybe it is. Had a nice Italian luncheon with slightly overpriced wine. Good service, pleasant surroundings, good food, reasonable prices. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Il Fratello:
We had dinner here- service was a bit slow, despite not many customers. The portions were large and the wine selection good. The music was dreadful 70s English songs redone badly. Ok food View all feedback.
The restaurant is located during the walk around the city centre. Was served by a very efficient young boy. It seemed like the family all worked in the restaurant, probably making mum the culinary art. Ordered chicken and mushroom with potato and pumpkin, absolutely delicious. washed with a bottle of delicious Malbec Trumpeter The mood with the young people was so energetic that we decided to go there the next night, but no young people and the atmosphere were not a bit loud at all with the music. I had pork with pumpkin, which was delicious.
Good Italian restaurant in the city; Food was good had pasta and pizza that were delicious; and the service was very good.
Very bad experience: vegetables cooked instead of grilled. The filet could kill someone if I let him fall, I've rarely ordered medium. And the worst is the price, for this bad experience we have paid more than anywhere in the city. Not happy
I ate here with some friends and all three of us were quite disappointed with our meals. The lasagne still had the imprint of the tin it was frozen in and had no sauce, although she did discover a slice of ham inside!? The pasta dish had lovely fresh pasta but the sauce was plain passata that you would find in a jar. Meanwhile the pizza was mediocre at best. It was expensive for what it was and the service was slow. I would not recommend this restaurant, there were plenty of other nice places to eat in Puerto Iguazú. 2/5 would not recommend.
Was happy to try Italian after 4 nights of steak, but wished I stuck to my trend. I don't know how an Italian restaurant can get a spaghetti and lasagna dish wrong. Rubbery pasta, poor meat quality, and walnuts added to my wife's dish not stated on the menu (she has a nut allergy)!!! Two stars given only for the decent service provided.
