Amatique Bay Resort Marina

Beautiful hotel, but. The good: Stunning views, great swimming pool for adults and children, nice comfy beds The bad: Overpriced food and drinks, rooms can do with a blackout cortins so you can sleep until 8am instead of having a bright room at 5.30am and finally the air-conditioning makes a loud noise so makes it hard to sleep

Swimming pool needs a lot of cleaning, rooms need garbage baskets, staff were very nice and friendly. on the way to the hotel they need signs and definitiw lighting, as it is much too dark and the road is awful too many wash basin holes

Very nice hotel to spend time with family and friends and child friendly. I have not been able to visit the beach.

A bit outdated since it’s over 20 years old but like everything else, it will wear and tear. They have kept it decent although my room’s sink was clogged for the 3 days/2 nights I stayed. This is one of the reasons Im giving it a 3 star. I asked it to be fixed, they supposedly sent someone to fix it but it never was. As for the location, the specific location where the Hotel is located does get a 4.5 star but the general area only gets a 3 star because there are no good beaches in the general location. Pool is very nice just wish this place was All- Inclusive.

NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. This place is completely different from their website. Half their pool area is closed, including the entire children section and the water slides. They are doing construction and have dirty bags of sand leaking out and turning the open pool areas brown. That beautiful tiki hut on the jetty? Not there anymore, must have blown away in a storm, now the whole jetty is closed off. I feel completely lied to and wasted a whole vacation that I planned around coming here. None of the free activities listed online take place anymore, but of course you can pay $20-200 USD for all the other add-Ons. This place is falling apart and the website is a total lie.
