Los Carnales Mexican Food - Pueblo

I enjoyed the restaurant, but my wife had a different opinion. She felt the food was bland, while I found it quite tasty. However, there were some unsavory individuals around, like a man who lingered for 45 minutes without ordering anything before leaving, and a loud Hispanic guy who tried to engage the waitress in conversation. There was also a rude customer who spoke no English and was unfriendly to those of us who didn't speak Spanish. The atmosphere was lacking, and it was disappointing to see the waitress seem intimidated by a couple of the rougher patrons. Overall, I liked the food, but the experience was marred by these unsettling elements.

I really enjoy getting food from this place, and the carne asada fries are absolutely fantastic. The burritos are excellent as well. The food does take a bit longer to prepare, but I think it's definitely worth the wait.

The food is great, but it’s a bit on the expensive side. The cost of ingredients contributes to this. The service can take a while, but the appreciative owner truly values his customers.
