Carnitas Michoacanas Backyard Grill

Been around as a bar for as long as I have lived here- over 24 years. Changed ownership a few times. Last time I ate their was ten years ago. Was good but spendy back then, unknown now. The evening crowd can get loud and can hear their karaoke a mile and half away on a warm Friday night. They have outdoor seating if your a smoker. I am not sure when they stop serving food for the eve.

I do not recommend going here. Under New ownership Management instead of improving it is worse. Ordered a Barbacoa burrito which cost $10 was the size of regular burrito didn't come with anything else than the Barbacoa meat inside and a small side of rice and beans. Not worth the $10 I spent. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the service was decent.

Let me start with saying the venue is neat. The service, food and correctly getting orders correct were horrible. My hubby ordered a Gin on the rocks, seems like an easy order right? Well they managed to mess it up...he was served a Gin and tonic. Food was inedible. They didn't even offer to remove said food from bill nor did they offer to replace it. I was there celebrating my birthday and I'm not impressed. Won't be coming back.

Our group always has a good time when we visit here. Drinking was good and who doesn't love happy hour. They were busy our apps came out quickly, but the main meal took a little longer. Our waitress was attentive and kept our drinks full. A plate was grounded, but they corrected it and even adjusted the bill. Great burgers!

The food was outstanding. While the service was satisfactory, the meal took quite a long time to arrive, despite there being only two other tables occupied. It's a fantastic spot to dine, as long as you're not pressed for time or need to return to work soon.
