What Jiya Rao doesn't like about Energy Home:
Everything on the menu appeared to be vegan, but the shop certainly isn 't. So be weary of this. Customer service isn 't their strong point. We ordered an idly and vegetable wrap. The idlys never turned up and when we asked about it they said they hadn 't made a note of it. So we cancelled the idlys (as we 'd been waiting quite a while) and asked for the bill. After waiting again for a very long time, they told us we... View all feedback.
Came here expected that there was a nice place for western tourist and found no ruffle food with a few tables in the middle. Dishes are not the fastest service or most organized staff, but friendly and tasty, healthy foo. imo not all traditional Indian dishes translate exactly to raw versions. idyllic are not fluffy, but dense and firm, rice dishes have a completely different consistency. but they all try.
Everything on the menu seemed to be vegan, but the shop is certainly not. they are so tired. the customer service is not the decisive point. we ordered an idyllic and vegetable package. the idyll never showed up and when we asked for it, they said they had not made any note of it. So we cancelled the idyll (as we wait one) and asked for the bill. After they waited for a very long time, they told us we should pay in writing. we were the only customers and I went with my friend who spoke tamil to them, so I am not sure why there was so much confusion. the food that arrived remained much to wish. although it is the only vegan place in the city, I will not return.
Great place to interesting health food, snacks, supplements and books on yoga, health food, feng shui, meditation, auto-urine therapy (if they are in that). eating is usually raw vegan, apart from idylis and dosas, which are prepared in a unique way for this place. I recommend the crumble juice.
This is the best raw food restaurant in s. india. eating is all organic and uncooked. all pastures are then soaked. the mother's milk should die. the food is flavored Indian and just so delicious. the prices are incredibly low. this place is the heaven.
Since I follow mostly raw vegan diet, I was so happy to discover this cafe. Staff is very nice and friendly. All food is prepared fresh. They have so many options in juices , nut milks , grain milks, salads and even idlis and desserts. They also have a store where you can buy millets, millet flakes, sprouted grain flour, millet noodles, spices etc.. must visit for a unique experience and try food that heals.
