Biryani Paradise - Puducherry

This is the place to come and it won't let you down. Me and my better half went to the PORR watch store on MG Road. This shop is right next to it. We saw and were little concerned about the place. There is no AC room but a small family room at the back which is cool due to the infrastructure and ventilation of the house. Ordered mutton biriyani, chicken biriyani, chicken 65, and grape juice. Biriyani came with onion raita and eggplant thokku. Raita Quark was fresh and perfect and Thokku was right. Biriyani was the highlight as it was mildly flavored and perfect. There were 3 pieces of mutton and they fell off the bones. Soft and juicy. Rice was long and cooked. This is a typical Muslim south Indian biriyani. Chicken biriyani was good, but I found the chicken pieces a little dry. Chicken 65 was properly fried and accompanied by onion and lemon. As we walked the streets of Pondicherry with a hungry stomach and scorching sun above our heads, we (me and my friends) saw something other than the regular Arabic restaurants and decided to try it out. And it was one of the best decisions we ever made about food. The biryani that was served was so hot and tasty. The starters were good too. And to our surprise, the price was also very moderate. I will visit this place again :)

Both chicken 65 biryani and egg biryani was old biryani .Had thrown away .waste of money
