A1 Food Land - Puducherry

Why tf zomato is asking for reviews of a restaurant which i visited 2 year ago also when the experience was really pathetic.

A very pocket friendly option, not great of ambience but food is really tasty. We tried north indian dishes and everything we tried was delicious.

Ordered parotta but thru gave wheat parotta that too burnt

Roaming cockroaches , Also after telling 3 times , they didn't turn on the lights (they said they will not so we left f king place.

So there's a story behind how we stumbled upon this restaurant. So it was the first day in Pondicherry and cyclone Fani was crossing from Pondicherry to Andhra Pradesh well, it was raining heavily and all the restaurants and stores were shutting down. Somehow we reached the place we were staying and trying to call all the restaurants to deliver but they all were shut. But then we called up to this resto and they were up ready to deliver us food. What we ordered: 1 Prawns Fry it was so crunchy 2 Prawns Masala Fry and of course they delivered fries for free as part of French culture. And when asked for prawns they ligid give you prawns and not more of vegetables and less of prawns....read more
