The chicken parmesan was divine, and the meatballs were delicious. However, the sausages were a bit lacking. I could really have used some Diet Pepsi. The Hawaiian drink was quite underwhelming. I ordered the black salmon with risotto; the salmon was decent but nothing special. The risotto was overcooked and crispy, making it nearly inedible. When I brought this to the waiter’s attention, he merely said he would inform the chef. There was no apology, no effort to rectify the situation, and I didn’t hear anything from the chef. Considering the beautiful historic building and vibrant location, the overall experience was very disappointing.
The atmosphere was beautiful. I ordered the pistachio-crusted chicken, and I was quite surprised by the small portion size given the price. I could have easily eaten a second serving and still felt satisfied without being overly full. The dish was delicious but definitely on the small side, and the potatoes and beans were cold when they arrived. However, the pasta dishes I got for two others in my party appeared to have larger portions. The fourth member of our group really enjoyed her salad and was laughing happily about it.

Thanks to the online information, we'll definitely be back, and we've let our friends know to check it out too.
Oregano is a beautiful addition to the restaurants of the inner city provo. eating is good enough. service is in order. it is a good place to take family and meet friends. it was 3 times there and nothing that is excellent to really be fleeing, but also not complaining. it's an occult place to go.
I enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. We were seated shortly after arrival even though it was New Years Eve and they were busy. I didn't care for the music but the food was very good, the server was pleasant and efficient. To our surprise we were given an additional meal to take home with us when we left, this significantly increased the value of the meal and let us experience some of the foods we had not yet tries. I agree with others who have commented on the bench seating. It sits so much higher than the chairs on the other side of the table that it was a little awkward. All in all, I would gladly return to dine here again.
