What Iain Roubian doesn't like about Joe Vera's Mexican:
The food was all from cans. The beans the sauces etc. The chips were from a bag and the salsa was bland. I literally took two bites and threw in the towel. Our waitress was great but the food was probably the worst mexican food I've ever had from a sit down restaurant. DONT PUT YOUR SERVER IN A POSITION WHERE SHE HAD TO LIE. View all feedback.
Just discovered how awesome this place is! The food is delicious (LOVE their chips and salsa) and the wait staff is so friendly and helpful
Tasty food with a lot of choices. Service always seems to be on the slower side, and the atmosphere could use an update. Definitely would recommend going there for the food though!
The food and service was bad It wasn't Mexican enchiladas And the servers were outside we waited for 20 min before the cashier went to go get them
We came here for my birthday the other night and we had quite a few issues. First, when we walked in, the building smelt like sewage. We would have chosen somewhere else, but we already had people meeting us here. Second, we were out of water for most of our meal. It wasn't until right before we left that we finally got refills. Finally, my order was prepared incorrectly and when brought up to the server, he made no effort to remedy the issue. We used to love eating here, but it is not the same Joe Vera's of the past.
It was fine. There were four of us, we all thought the food was ok. It was our 2nd or 3rd time there. I mean it's a clean place, with nice servers. Go check it out once or twice. More bean options would be good, like black, pinto, borracho, instead of only refried.
