Santa Brasa - Providencia Chile

Solid choice for a business traveler looking for a good steak close to the main hotels. I stopped by on my last night in Santiago on work travel in hopes of a solid steak and glass of wine. This place delivered... for the most part. I am only slightly tainted by the steak I had earlier in the week at one of the top places in Santiago. That experience aside, Santabrasa does have a great selection of wine and various cuts of beef. One item to note is their goblets of copa wine they serve that must be a pretty good part of a bottle right there! All at very reasonable prices I might add...

Great meat but a service that fell flat. I went there on a late night with colleagues for a good steak and wine. As it was late, some items were not available so I've opted for an Argentinian steak with a side of fries and avocado salad. The steak itself was delicious, tender and cooked as requested. Fries were undercooked but once returned they were great. As for the avocado salad ... they sent me a sliced avocado. I had to argue with the waiter that an avocado salad and sliced avocado are two very different things. I finally got a salad that tasted nice.

We went there for dinner and had the huge 900g steak which was very good. Also the Filet was great. They know how to grill a steak. But at first we started with Pisco sour which I really love. Service was good. The waiter tried to help with the wine selection but at the end we just had a carmenere like always. Inside the restaurant is just perfect on warm or hot days. If you are at the Shopping Center Park Arauco and would like to have a steak I can just recommend this place.

They got my attention on their official site, unfortunately the hype did not deliver, I got my steak over cooked, I asked for a side of fries all I got is a disgusting mess of oil, I tried for their churrasco, nothing special there. Try somewhere else if you crave for a steak.

Awful start. No mollejas and the whisky sour was like whisky with whatever. When asked to change because they did not have mollejas, server was not very helpful. Sad because it is an expensive place that use to be good
