This is the worst experience. I placed an online food order at 5 o'clock for a 1 pm pickup, and they were unable to have it ready. They admitted to lying about the readiness of my order. I have never encountered a problem like this with other restaurants. If they are unable to keep up with demand, they should not offer the service. It was a waste of time and gas to deal with them. My husband waited for over an hour in the pick up line this evening, after our order was pushed out by an hour. They didn’t begin shopping for the order until after he arrived. I’ve also had wait times up to 45 minutes only to be told that half of my groceries were out of stock (no text messages about out of stock or substitutions). Defeats the purpose of the “time saving and convenient” pickup. Their service has rapidly declined in the last few months. Not cool Kroger, not cool! Unfortunately there aren’t many options in the area, but I will no longer shop at this location. Their terrible customer service really makes me miss my beloved H-E-B!
I hate this Kroger. It is extremely disappointing. My wife says that it is uninspiring. 1. Many common items are always out-of-stock. I ask the clerks to check in the back, but their response is usually, No, we don't have it because no one ordered it again 2.
