My wife and I hand a fantastic three-course meal at Rasooi Indian Restaurant. The best Indian food in Adelaide bar none. The hostess was warm and super friendly only excelled by the traditional home cooked style Indian food. We will be back even if it is a long drive for us, well worth it. The customer service at this restaurant is poor and it takes a long time to receive your food. The staff is not experienced and often forgets to serve complimentary items. The food is served cold and customer complaints are not resolved. Despite paying a higher price for the expectation of good service and hot food, the restaurant does not deliver. Excellent, very authentic traditional Indian cuisine, very generous servings and lovely friendly service.A totally no frills "restaurant " we were the only non Indian people eating in. A true testament to the authenticity of the fare.
This place is tucked away in the Prospect village shopping centre in a location that has has seen many places come and go. The food is traditional north Indian cuisine just like I grew up eating at home. It is authentic, and utterly delicious. The decor is extremely basic and it is not licensed. The staff are friendly and the food is cooked freshly throughout the day so you may experience a wait if you happen to come in at a time when what you order is in the process of being cooked. Those who have grown up eating this kind of food will not be able to fault it in any way, those to whom it is a foreign cuisine will react to it according to their own taste and maybe not always positively so please remember this when reading reviews. I sincerely hope this place survives as it is now my go to place for home style Indian food.

If you love a vindaloo this is the restaurant for youTh curries were fantastic My husband had an vindaloo and a Marsala he loved them both.
