Have visited this Cocolat lots of times, consistent great service, great coffee and selection of different yum desserts, tried the Baileys Embrace, impressed, a great place to bring that special someone, nice ambiance. Cosy and warm, and in summer there is a lovely deck outside. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cocolat:
Voucher for cake & coffee, but they wouldn't offer a REAL cake - just a small cupcake! Coffee was quite good, but staff seemed unsure what they were doing. On a Saturday evening, the place was empty and looked closed. Almost drove off when I noticed movement in a doorway. Mood lighting is fine if there are people inside, otherwise there's little to show they're open. View all feedback.
Best cheesecake I've had out in a while service was amazing especially at 8:15pm just 45 mins until close definitely will be back need to look at the menu properly though because there was so many nice food to eat. The place was very busy at that time of night too.
We came for coffee and cake on a very wintry afternoon, but it was really worth it. The coffee was great and the cakes were delicious. We also sampled one of their house made truffles. Forget the diet for one day, and enjoy it!
I bought a scoopon for this and it really was awesome:) I actually have been twice in a week:) I took my daughter, then my girlfriend. Enjoyed it both times. The cakes were divine, the coffee was fantastic and the owner was so friendly. It's really relaxing It would even be great at night time as they have an outside decking area and a heating system. Lots of car parking which is an added bonus and your only 5 mins from the city added bonus
Came here for coffee after seeing a movie on a public holiday. There was not much open in this area. The coffee was delicious and array of deserts looked very nice. So we indulged. Sat on decking. Service was good but only one other small group there when we arrived but numbers increased before we left. Deserts were lovely but quite expensive ....definitely a place to come for a treat.
Had a voucher to use up so we headed in to redeem. We both had Crispy Bacon with yummy, creamy Scrambled Eggs on toasted Sour Dough served with some delicious spicy tomato chutney. Couldn't leave without having something sweet so chose the Choc Fondue plate for 2 which had heaps of marshmallows, strawberries & sliced banana to dunk! We also got a side serve of a waffle which wasn't really needed nor very nice, it was quite dark, all torn apart & very doughy - think it was left in the machine a bit long & they forgot to grease it hence difficulty in getting it out in one piece. We enjoyed our visit however staff need more training, took ages to place our order, ages to receive it & for the amount of staff there & customers this shouldn't have been a problem. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area, just not if I am in a hurry.
