Solid tex mex options. Service was good. Best thing about this location is the atmosphere. In particular, the outdoor seating is very nice and they allow dogs. They also have these very cool free mouthwash dispensers in the bathrooms.Food: 4/5 View all feedback.
Gustavo’s is THE place to be! We visited for a long weekend and found this place our first night. We loved it so much we made it back our second night as well. The food is top notch, the spirit selection is one of the best we’ve seen, but it’s the staff that makes it the only place you need to be for dinner! Louis, Jesus, Saul and Gustavo himself made us feel like family. The greeting we were met with when returning that second night made us want to move closer so we could visit all the time! Absolutely stop in to Gustavo’s if you are in Norton Commons!
Good service, the burrito was delicious. Kind of a trendy Mexican restaurant but overall very comfortable.Food: 5/5
We went for Apron, Chef in a Box and Gustavo's really delivered! The fajitas were excellent along with all the accompaniments. Their queso was so buttery with a little heat. Don't leave without trying their flan, it was very good. Thank you Gustavo's for supporting Apron and making us a delicious meal. We will be back!Food: 5/5
From service to food, Everything was great! Server was attentive and offered many delicious suggestions.
Venue: Non-obvious parking lot. Too small table for 4 ordering fajitas--keeping with Norton Commons small-scale lots theme. Service Timeliness: Good. Server promised the chimichanga would be crisp, but it was not. Margueritas with salt: Very tasty, but why only 5 grains of salt on rim? Food: Standard for a Louisville Mexican restaurant. Shredded chicken in chimichanga tasted boiled. Cold chips straight out of the bag or box. Boring flavorless salsa, only one aprx 6 H bottle provided to 4 diners, nicely provided each diner their own 3 D salsa dish. Receipt: Don 't ask the price if you can 't afford it! No restaurant deserves 5 stars, when they don 't provide an itemized take-home receipt, especially for a $100+ bill. Not easy to realize the value, the charges accuracy, or desire to return. Likelihood to return: Engh, doubtful.
