Most people love Captains Quarters for the view and the drinks, and I have to say, it is a GREAT place to people watch, especially on the weekends. The crowd is a good mix of young and old, from all walks of life, so you can always feel comfortable bringing a group. Nice location and plenty of parking. The hostess didnt know where our table was for our reservation. It was an outside easter igloo. The wait staff never came out to take drink orders so I went and found them. I plugged in the heater and lights for the igloo. The table was set up but that was it. I love Captain's Quarters! It is a great place to relax after a busy week. It has the best terrace in Louisville! On weekends, in the summer months, I enjoy going there for the live bands. The food and the atmosphere are great!
Friends suggested Captain's Quarters for lunch when we visited Louisville this weekend. The visit was really very nice in Captain's Quarters. The food was excellent, the location was perfect and the company was the best. Next time we will come back to enjoy an evening of laughing and dancing on the river. The view, the food the atmosphere is always great when I eat here. I came Saturday and it was a long wait so I left and came back Tuesday after work, great way to end a long day.
