Located on the beach (with opportunity of beach service), this restaurant offers different options of sitting between the bar, outdoor and indoor sitting with very pleasant decorations, service and great options for menu and wine. Can feel spoiled here if looking for Cancun beach restaurant type experience with great local food and wine View all feedback.
What SteveinParis doesn't like about L'Oasis Bar:
It was just average all around. The pizzas seems like the dough was frozen, and then they just added the toppings. We had drinks before, not even a single peanut was offered even though our drinks cost more than €40. The deserts we did not have because they cost €8.50 each. One thing I can say, is that the view and staff are very nice. View all feedback.
The food at l'Oasis is pretty good, the service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the position is fabulous. It is the only restaurant in Propriano my family and I consistently return to. Sunset from the Oasis is spectacular!
Good location for a stop on the beach when you are in Propriano. You can walk on the sand to go there or even drive and park in the front of the restaurant. Kids Menu is OK and not so expensive.
Perfect food! good service...salads are amazing and so big...we even order a 3rd course...fantastic! perfect for baby with the enfant menu! suggested
Really excellent food, very tasty, surprising creative. Great atmosphere excellent service, friendly, charming, everything clean. Can only be recommended. We will surely come back.
The position is nice so we tried to visit twice, as a family, at lunchtime, in August. The first time we were asked if we had a booking, we didn’t, and so we were turned away. We departed, observing with interest a half empty restaurant. I called the next day to book, to be be told “we don’t take bookings”. So we turned up earlier than the day before, and queued behind an equally bemused French family who waited in vain for a table, despite the restaurant being, erm, half empty. Everyone gave up trying to attract the attention of the surly manager type drongo at the ‘welcome desk’ who seemed more interested in playing with the controls on the music mixing desk (there was no music playing) than dealing with annoying customers. Just for fun, I turned up with two sailing mates, one evening, for dinner, without booking to be shown instantly to a table. We were handed menus and requested pasta to be told that “we don’t serve pasta at this table, you need to go to a different part of the restaurant”. Which begs the question why give us the menus, then? I’m perfectly serious by the way this is how it happened. So we chose something just about edible (mercifully I forget what it was) which apparently was allowed in that postcode. Then we had live music which was so bad I actually thought it was karaoke night, but no, it was a live singer. At least I think he was alive, it sounded like he was being strangled. I must say, the place gets my vote but not as a restaurant it’s more like The Comedy Store. Except the food is awful and the staff are worse. Enjoy!
