No regresaría ni aunque me invitarán.Fuimos a tomar unas cervezas después de comer en otro restaurante, tardaron más de media hora en atendernos y cuando por fin lo hicieron nos dijeron que no podiamos estar en los camastros solo tomando bebidas que era obligatorio que consumieramos comida, les explique que estabamos muy llenos que solo queríamos tomar algo y nos dijo (el mesero) que entonces el uso de los camastros era de $50 pesos, las micheladas costaban como $54 pesos o sea que pagamos $108 de dos cervezas más $100 por el uso de sus camastros un total de $208 pesos por hacer uso de sus instalaciones una hora y medía. En lo que estabamos en el lugar había una mesa con unos chicos tomando un cartón de cervezas xx varios chicos se fueron a nadar y un chico se quedo en la mesa, el mesero le dijo que si les limpiaba y el chico dijo que si. Mientras limpiaba el mesero se llevó los envases vacios y uno lleno lo cual me saco de onda, seguí viendo que hacía y cual fue mi sorpresa que vi que el mesero ¡¡SE TOMÓ LA CERVEZA DE UN CLIENTE!! saque mi teléfono de inmediato para tomar foto pero el mesero se tomo la cerveza muy rápido y no me dio tiempo de tomarle foto.Es un abuso para los clientes ser tratados así.Adjunto una foto del capitán de meseros o no sé que sea en el teléfono, así estuvo todo el tiempo ignorando por completo a los clientes .Para pedir la cuenta casi tuvimos que rogar y si no me creen les adjunto una foto de un mesero tomando cerveza sentado.De verdad no vengan a este lugar, hay mejores y con servicio increíble.
La comida muy buena, música en vivo y la atención muy buena. Me gustó mucho el concepto del restaurante y se puede comer en la playa o en el restaurante. Aunque no tienen aire acondicionado. Los baños muy sucios.
We decided to try a quick lunch here and it happened to be cruise ship day (Tues and Thurs). We were not part of that-we are staying at a hotel for a week.When we sat down we were give a menu in US dollars. We don't even have dollars with us-we are in Mexico so expect to pay in Pesos. The waiter was funny. When we asked for the menu with pesos-he looked at us oddly and said "Mexican Pesos"!! We said, "UMMM, yes?" Since, we have been traveling around the Yucatan for 2 weeks our "dining Spanish" is passable, so figured we were safe! If you have any Spanish, do the same! The MX menu is 5 times as big and 2/3 the prices!! He also asked if we wanted "botanas". Say yes. They are appetizers and they are free!We enjoyed people watching, drinking very cold beer and having our snacks. We didn't eat a meal, so I can not comment on that.
Gente amable me atendieron muy bien, la comida está deliciosa me encanto, buena vista y la música en vivo ambientó el lugar! Bonito lugar
Just returned from a cruise where one of our stops was Progreso Mexico. We stopped, dis embarked, caught a bus into town and walked to the beach. The first place we came to was Los Henequenes. We were greeted by one of their servers, very nice man, rented some beach loungers on the sand in front of the restaurant and the server took care of us all day long. Family of Four all day and our cost with food and drinks was $52 with tip. Far less than what the excursion desk wanted for an "All Inclusive" experience. Which by the way is limited to 3 hours in most cases. We spent about 5 hours at the beach, beer and drinks kept coming. Kids played in the water, if you needed a restroom you just walked into the restaurant and used theirs. Which by the way was cleaner than most Mexican Restaurants in the US. This was a great stop and well worth it. The only thing we didn't like was all the peddlers trying to sell us stuff, but that just goes with the territory. They were all nice as well, simply say no thank you and they walked on. I highly recommend Los Henequenes, it is the first stop you will come to once you hit the beach, so no need to walk any further.
