What User doesn't like about Mazatlan Restaurnat:
everything has either cheese or meat in it. they can only make so many substitutions. disappointed when I saw the menu and realized that the only vegan dish in the menu was the guacamole, salsa, bon and rice, which are practically supplemented. they should offer toasts, toasts, or beans-tostadas as the right entree for vegans. updated by previous review on 2022-03-30 View all feedback.
We recently dined at the Mexican restaurant and were very impressed. The food was consistently delicious, with a wide variety of options at affordable prices. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring that our meals came out quickly even during peak hours. The restaurant had plenty of parking, a full bar, and a cozy, clean atmosphere with a traditional Mexican decor. It was clear that many families frequented the restaurant, as there was even a children's menu available. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning.
I have been to the restaurant before, but it is not my idea of a good time so I will not be returning.
After dining at this restaurant for more than a year, a server finally told us that the rice is not vegan. The fried beans were also not vegan, contrary to what we had thought. The green sauce had pork in it as well. Despite having a vegetarian menu, all dishes have rice cooked with lard. When we expressed our disappointment about being misinformed, the server rudely said that many vegans are okay with eating lard. We have decided not to dine at this restaurant again.
Everything has either cheese or meat in it. You can only make so many substitutions. Disappointed when I saw the menu and realized that the only vegan dish in the menu was the guacamole, salsa, beans and rice. You should offer potato frogs, potato soaps or bean tostadas as the right deer for vegans. Updated by previous review on 2022-03-30
I was disappointed to find that almost every dish on the menu contained either cheese or meat, making it hard to make substitutions. The only vegan option available was a plate of guacamole, salsa, beans, and rice, which felt more like side dishes than a proper entree. I would recommend the restaurant to offer more substantial vegan options such as potato flautas, potato sopes, or bean tostadas.
