My goodness! I went here for the first time today and I’ll tell you what the pork belly sandwich is to die for! Let alone the sea food soup was delicious. I found my new quick stop food place most definitely will be coming back along with telling my friends. View all feedback.
What Christina R doesn't like about Glacier Truck:
No way!!! I cannot believe this place has that many stars. What a disappointment!! The menu was extremely limited and they were out of most items. Deli style store front and the place and food looked nothing liked the pictures.Overpriced and we only ordered the hot pretzels that were the frozen food store brand (Super Pretzel)and charged a fortune for 3 of them. Really??!! I even asked the waitress if these were home... View all feedback.
We came here for lunch after a cold hike and wanted a warm drink and some good food. We ordered a hot apple cider, which tasted like warmed apple tea or something...no spices in the cider and not very apple-tasting. I got the schnitzel sandwich with the daily soup, which was ham and lentil. The soup was great and hearty. I especially enjoyed the red cabbage slaw on the schnitzel sandwich. For $12-$13 I was hoping I would get a little more sandwich, though. We also got the peanut butter chocolate dessert which was delicious, especially the chocolate fudge-y taste. The atmosphere was pretty nice and there's plenty of seating in the establishment.

A hidden gem! Glacier Truck offers delicious food. The schnitzel is fantastic: crispy, flavorful on a nice ciabatta roll with pickles and pickled red cabbage. Homemade German potato salad is tasty. Great value too: schnitzel, side and a drink for $10. Serving size is hefty. lTwo of the owners, Jerry and his mother Dasha prepared the food and are so welcoming and friendly. Wishing the family lots of success in Prineville
Great food and even more exceptional service. I was greeted by family owned friendly service. I had the homemade German sausage with mustard sauekraut and yalapeno cheese. Dressings were light, allowing for the delicious flavor of the sausage to be appreciated. With it came with a drink and my choice of chips or soup. The soup was a seafood chowder which consisted of salmon and shrimp as well as more seafood that I could not remember. The soup was not runny or thick, appropriate consistency. I could taste the various seafood textures and it all seemed very fresh. The country mountain music in the background adds the the mountainous ambience. They also serve gyro and schnitzel. All this for $10 is not bad. I spend more at subway at times. Give it a shot, I was not disappointed the slightest bit and will be returning for more eats.

Don 't waste your time or money going there.
