We used to be regular customers at The Planted Plate, but as strange as it may sound, Princeton lacks many vegan options. When this restaurant opened, we were very excited. They have a wide variety of options, all of which are delicious. However, we prefer vegan food that leans less towards ultra-healthy and more towards comfort eating. I tried the Buffalo Soldier wrap at this restaurant and found the tempeh to be overly salty. Despite being very hungry, I struggled to finish my meal and drank a lot of water afterwards. I also didn't realize they had free water pitchers in the back and ended up buying bottled water, which added to the expensive, NYC-like prices. However, I plan to stop by again next time I'm in the area to try more items and hopefully have a better experience. The restaurant has ample seating and a restroom available.
I recently visited this restaurant and although I didn't have a chance to try any of the food due to time constraints, I was impressed by the excellent service and menu options available. The restaurant is perfect for those following a plant-based diet or with food allergies, as they are accommodating and understanding. This attention to individual needs sets them apart from other places I have visited, and I would give them a 10/10 rating for this. The cashier was also friendly and professional when answering my questions. I highly recommend this restaurant for both plant-based individuals and those open to trying something new. They also offer new specials daily, making it worth a visit.
I appreciate that this restaurant offers all vegan options, but I found the food I ordered (oyster mushroom po'boy) to be bland. The ranch sauce on the side was also lacking in flavor. They do have a wide variety of options on the menu, including desserts, but I did not try them. I would be willing to give them another chance if I am in the area. It is worth noting that they also offer vegetarian options.

While we enjoyed our meals here, we found that it wasn't as healthy as we had hoped. If there are no other vegan options in the city, this place is a great choice. However, we don't frequent it as much as we used to. It's definitely worth a try, especially since there aren't many complete vegan meal options in Princeton. Overall, it's a great choice if you're in the area.
The restaurant was empty. He felt frustrated and asked the manager to improve, but the manager refused.
