Although the service can be rushed and the reservation system unreliable, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant's sophisticated ambiance, outdoor seating, and generous portions make it a great spot for brunch or lunch. With traditional European pastries, gourmet coffee, and a variety of teas, Caffe Vienna stands out as a top choice for a relaxed dining experience in town. Mother's Day brunch was a hit with a small buffet of delicious treats and friendly service.
When we came to the cafe, they told us they had no reservation. I showed them their confirmation, but they said they were not open anymore. this is very disappointing that we came from an hour in philadelphia and we meet people from northern new jersey. That was very bad. they should take the restaurant out of their lists so that it does not happen again.
A beautiful and beautiful cave in princeton. the staff is friendly and helpful. there they find peace and support.
As often as I ran from him, I was thrilled to try the cafe. unfortunately the experience fell flat for all her charms. I'm not sure why they're holding up, because this is a very small caffe with limited, first seating, we had luck taking a table. no waiting service, they order at the desk. they have a good selection of omeletts, sandwiches and other brunch articles. oddly, instead of offering menus, they had print out some pages of the menus, but they must go through several stacks of paper to find what they are looking for. the service needs a serious improvement. somehow they managed to lose our orders twice, it took 3 separate people who took our orders before we finally got our food, almost an hour after our first order (and one of the sandwiches they gave us was the wrong order). at this point they were made of utensils, so the half of our party got plastic knives. the toast came out long after the rest of the meal. the food was mediocre. I appreciate that the owner was there and compiles the table with dessert. a much appreciated gesture to restore the experience. I really hope they can improve because the restaurant has a great ambiente and a lot of potential, and I would like to see them successfully!
Very nice place for good coffee and wonderful dessert to meet.
We used to love it, was our go-to brunch place but looks like they underwent a management change and its definitely gotten worse. The croissants and bread in buffet were also stale vs. before used to be very fresh. The cheese in the omelette was sliced cheese vs. shredded so didnt melt at all and made consistency odd. Overall very sad that it has deteriorated so much after management change.
