We didn't sample the food, but the locals were having pub grub as well as liquid lunches. Good selection of lagers and ales. Tables inside and out, with most outside being sheltered under canopies. Anyway, it was a biker stop off nice to sit outside and enjoy the country. Worth a visit, it's a bit tucked away. You can walk up the hill to get to the white cross. I f... read more Charming pub located along a popular hiking trail. There are three beers on tap, and the two I sampled were excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I found the lunch enjoyable, but there were some issues with attention to detail—there was no horseradish with one dish, and the avocado was under ripe and inedible in another. Despite these small concerns, the overall dining experience was good.
