Pizza Hut - Prince Rupert

I hadn't been here in quite a while when I stopped here with some friends to talk.

Well I can't really write much about this place. Not sure if we went at the wrong time but this place was not a pub, it was a coffee and cookie/muffin

If I lived downtown, Red Star would be my neighbourhood pubIt's my default place whenever I'm meeting someone for drinks downtown.

As I've said before, I usually begin my chain reviews by saying something along the lines of "if you've been to one, then you've been to them all;" however, this does not hold true for the Prince Rupert Pizza Hut. Whereas the Pizza Hut restaurants in Terrace, Prince George, Chilliwack, Vancouver, Richmond and Victoria have all been consistent (at least the ones I've been to) -- that is to say, they all taste "the same" and have been of good quality, the same does not apply to the Rupert location. I've ordered from them on a number of occasions and the food has been inconsistent practically every time. One day it'll be bland and tasteless and on other days it will taste as I'd expect pizza from Pizza Hut to taste. This is indeed kind of frustrating because you never know what you're going to get from one day to the next. On the bright side, the food has never been BAD. . .They also have a propensity towards messing up orders. On more than one occasion, my order has been botched in some way. Once, on a delivery order, I ended up receiving a regular sized pizza when, in fact' I'd ordered a small (I was only charged for a small). I guess you could say this particular botch worked in my favour. But another time, I ended up receiving boneless wings instead of the traditional that had been ordered. If I'd wanted chicken strips, I would've ordered strips. . (.it was just before closing, so I couldn't return them). Oh well -- the "chicken strips" were OK.All in all, this location is OK -- just OK. If they were more consistent in what they produced I'd give them a higher rating.FOOD: 2.5/5SERVICE: 3/5VALUE: 2.5/5RECOMMENDATION: Moderate

We ordered two pizzas with extra cheese and deluxe toppings. The pizzas had very little toppings, mostly just crust, and we couldn't even find the extra cheese. We won't be ordering from this place again.
