Pita Pit - Prince Rupert

We stopped by just before leaving. We had by for pitas,and they were excellent, lots of tasty fillings stuffed into a thin pita, and the staff was friendly and skilled.

Pita Pit is yet another new addition to the Prince Rupert culinary experience, having just opened its doors in mid January of this year. I suspect the location of this national chain is strategic and intentional: it is located directly across the street from Subway while Tim Horton's is just steps away from "the Pit". In many ways, this area of Rupert is very much beginning to resemble something of a "sandwich row" with the 3 major chains now locked in a fierce culinary battle. Will the Pita Pit catch on and establish itself as a viable eatery in Prince Rupert's already saturated food scene?I visited the Pita Pit just the other day and it's clear that this place is still riding its "new restaurant buzz" because the line-up for lunch was almost out the door. An observation about the interior: It's very bright, very modern. In some ways, the set-up almost seems out of place for Prince Rupert because most of the local eateries are not bright (lime green chairs, etc)., nor do they tend to play the latest R

So Pita Pit just opened recently and we've been there a few times already.

Awesome and friendly staff! Will never feel guilty about eating there, so many healthy options!

I am excited that this restaurant is a recent addition to Rupert. I appreciate the clean and modern atmosphere of the restaurant. The food I ordered was fresh and delicious, just like I have experienced at other places. I will definitely be returning when I am in town again.
