StarWok Chinese Restaurant

Having been a frequent visitor to Dim Sum restaurants in Vancouver every time I travel there, I was thrilled to get the chance to try the StarWok

I received the all-time best fortune cookie from Star Wok.

Was good until me and my boyfriend got food poisoning. we were puking and feeling super sick and ill for 3 days straight.

I normally stay away from Chinese restaurants thanks to overcooked vegetables and overwhelming sodium content. I found that the food at this place had neither. All of the food I have tried is hot and fresh and well cooked. The vegetables actually have some crunch to them and the sauces seem freshly prepared. I ordered the ginger beef hot pot and was pleasantly surprised to see actual chunks of ginger in my bowl. Will be back to try out some Dim Sum soon!
