What Anaïs Poulin doesn't like about Joey's Restaurants:
Food was ample but not unique or remarkable. Mussels were good, but served with no bread to soak up the sauce. Tacos were bland, needs so spice. Coleslaw is very good. View all feedback. What Addison Zieme likes about Joey's Restaurants:
"Is this one of the best meals you've ever had in a restaurant?"...actually, yeah. Everywhere I go with fish tacos on the menu, I order them and then mentally compare my findings. I LOVE fish tacos. I've had good fish tacos and bad fish tacos. Some have been medicore, some have had exotic salsas that had no business being there. Sometimes I wake late at night and shoot up in bed, craving them, racking my brain to figure out the day of the week and how long I have to wait to go to Joey's again. Then when I get there I eat so many that I can't move and it's delightful.

read moreThe restaurant offers ample food options, with mussels being a highlight despite the lack of bread to soak up the sauce. Tacos were noted as bland and in need of spice, but the coleslaw was praised. The décor is described as simple but functional, while the ambiance is casual with a soft yellow lighting. The menu provides a good selection of seafood options, and the service was efficient with a pleasant greeting. The presentation and freshness of the food were satisfactory, with a notable mention of the French fries and fish being just okay. The intangibles include specials on meals, making it an affordable option. Overall, the restaurant offers a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with well-prepared seafood at a reasonable cost, making it a recommended choice for seafood lovers.
