Visited in May 2016 after a walk in ft. George park which was unseasonably hot. Enjoyed hot fudge sundae with peanuts. Friendly staff. Quick service. Happened that I was close to this location so I stopped in. Not much parking. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dairy Queen:
When ever I am in Canada, I NEED to try the Buster Bar. I found the peanuts in mine a bit on the over roasted side. Could have just a bit more fudge in the middle. Overall, right up there in the quest for a perfect Buster Bar. View all feedback.
Wing an dq to get blizzards. dq had recently sent flyer with coupons, so we thought why not. When we ordered the blizzards, I told them I had a bogo credit. at the window the casser took the voucher and repeated the original unreduced price. I had to ask to apply the voucher. I'm not sure if it's missing from training or not. their attitude said that they probably cheated other people and did not care. will not return to this dq. a few dollar is not the end of the world, but good customer service should not be difficult to come.
Clean spot. Busy even at closing towards 9:30pm. Quick service. Regular DQ quality food.
Last time I came here the manager who was working was yelling and swearing at a customer, he then went to where she was sitting with her 2-3 year old kid
We arrived at this Dairy Queen at about 4:00 p.m on June 11th. The first thing we noticed was there were a lot of staff working, and seeing how busy this Establishment was, it was understandable. My husband and I ordered two milkshakes to go. His was 'hot fudge' and mine was strawberry .... my husband said that his was far too sweet and almost undrinkable as we drove down the Highway. The bathroom in this Restaurant is down a flight of stairs. The staff have to 'push a button from behind the counter to unlock the door' it seemed. Bathroom was clean and had a nice, quiet, automatic hand dryer, unlike some of the noisy ones in other places. We noticed a lot of people in the line up at the Tills were buying frozen cakes, in fact we both commented to one another that we had never seen so many people wanting to purchase cakes at any Dairy Queen we had ever been to before. Besides the sickenly-sweet milkshake, my only other comment would be that the door configuration to get in and out of this Dairy Queen was a little odd and perhaps a tad dangerous.
Asked for a turtles blizzard, really needed a treat and was super hot, drove up to the window and she gave me one that was sooo runny that the spoon sunk right to the bottom. I asked if i could get hard iced cream as I don't like soft serve, She said that it was busy to the machine makes them really runny. I said no thinks can I have my money back please. And she said here and flipped it on its side (not upside down)'it didn't fall out,' here you go. Well that was awkward so i took it and paid for what i didn't want (even though i clearly said i would like my money back please as she was shoveling napkins into my hands because it was so runny) just to discover it only have 4 pieces of chocolate in it- boo! I understand its hard when your busy but it was late afternoon and not a peak time either way at the end of the day if someone says they don't want something and asks for their money back, it is just crappy to force them to take a faulty product. Never ever going back
