What User doesn't like about Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard:
On the first day of spring Rita's advertises free Italian ice. Don't go here. They penalize you for coming and only open one window with one server. They basically force you to go in and buy an Italian ice. I will never go there again. We used to live in Frederick, MD and the Rita's there would welcome you with open arms and open every window with lots of servers to take your order. They always treated you well on fr... Lola was not very friendly and acted rudely. The cup was filled with ice, spilling over the edges, and there was barely any custard on top of my ice cream.
The flavors were lacking during our visit, but we're looking forward to exploring their menu on our next trip.
The staff here consistently serve more ice cream than you request, which is really nice of them! It's great value!

One of my favorite places! Love love love the green apple and also florida orange. Can get a tiny cup. A quart or even a gallon! Or better have it made into a cream icicle slush drink (cant think of their proper name for jt! Take it home .stick in the freezer and when you want some , scoop out and hit the microwave for a few seconds and instantly goes right back to the same slushy consistency! I NEVER get sick of those 2 flavors! My only complaint .which is just my opinion, is I dont like how alot of the flavors have chunks in the bottom. like the cherry, has bits of real cherries . Not to hip on that.. G.apple F.orange both do NOT have chunks! ALSO like to mix lemonade with f.orange. ! wish they were open 365 a yr. But understandable in the winter months to be closed. I just get a couple gallons to make it through until reopening time! Lol
