Great wine tasting! We were charged $12 per person for 3 samples each. A bit pricey but this is an upscale winery. Atmosphere is fantastic and the outdoor art gallery was awesome! It is worth a look. View all feedback.
What Bev Arbec doesn't like about Huff Estates Winery Inn:
Did the wine sampling each…3 of us. Decided on purchase of one. Quite frankly we all felt like we were bothering “him”. Felt very rushed, and lacked the interaction you get at most wineries. My question to annoy him even more…if we purchase bottles do we pay for sample? Hospitality lack of is reason for my low rating.I whole heartedly feel if you purchase a bottle or 2, one should not have to pay for sampling. Just m... View all feedback.
This winery offers an exceptional experience with its inviting ambience, accommodating an exploratory gallery and comfortable lodging options. The staff, notably an individual named Brune (though I'm not entirely sure of the name), showcases remarkable expertise in wine, offering outstanding recommendations that cater to diverse palates. The host exudes kindness and generosity, further enriching the visit. Their selection includes award-winning wines, recognized as some of the best in Canada, making any purchase there a valuable addition to one’s collection. I wholeheartedly recommend this winery for anyone looking to savor exquisite wines in a welcoming environment.

We have tour about 80% of the wineries in the Niagara region (members of one for 6-7 years , a few around Collinwood and we 're starting to make our way around the Sandbanks region.I can say that we were impressed by the art trail on the propriety. The whole place was fairly busy. The helicopter pad and the few high ends cars in the parking lot made of feel like we were about to enter a 5 stars winery.Well the 5 stars stoped at the door and went down from there. We walked in to a nice modern ambiance. The greeter/cashier smiled at us but she was busy cashing out someone so we proceeded into the room exploring. We started to look at the building interesting features, looking at some wine bottles on display, looking toward the edge of the adjacent room at what might be a din...........the cashier stoped helping her client.-She ask looking above her client shoulder: Are you here for a sample?-We of course reply: Yes we would love to try out your wine.-Just make your way to the bar, find a spot on the left of the bar-She said(Not when we 're ready? Felt a little like stop looking around but ok no problem. We get to the bar, find a spot on the left side like we we 're pointed to. 1st thing the bar tender said, (no it 's not hi or welcome -Bartender: Not there, come over on this side. You been here before? No, then here 's the menu, figure out what you want. I 'll be back in a minute. We tryed 3 wine samples. Every samples was just given to us with no explanation, just a here you go flow by a what 's next every time we were done the sample. The experience felt pushed, rushed. Don 't look around just buy something and get out. We have a quota to reach. The wine was drinkable, nothing 5 stars or 4 stars. I would comparate it more to the wine in boxes at the LCBO and grocery stores. We payed for our samples and got out, not buying any bottles........this only ever happened 3-4 times. We usually always buy at least bottles of the best sample that we tryed and if we find extraordinary wines than we purshase them by the case.I did review some of the best wineries in Ontario, so follow me if you want to find the best wine!Cheers!Note: I did not take pictures at Huff Estates because it was busy and I wanted to respect the privacy of the clients.
Amazing place, staff were very friendly and curious.Carol and her staff at the inn were amazing.Melanie ,Holly and rest of the staff at the winery were amazing and we got to meet the owner Mr,Huff who was a very friendly gentleman.I highly recommend, and we hope to return in near future. Thanks again for a wonderful time at Huff Winery and Inn.
Cool hotel, great hospitality. For the last decade they have been an example of modernity in a wine region coming of age. Rhey remain one of the best places to have as your base of operations.
