What User doesn't like about The Beck and Call:
The food was what you would expect from a cafe or cafeteria. The steak dinner was $25 which consisted of a pan fry steak, frozen potatoes, frozen vegetables and canned mushrooms. My friend had the small fish and chips which was actually a frozen, flat breaded piece of fish and some over cooked fries. Swallow your "foodie" attitude and "we dine late" motto. Go early on a Sunday evening for the best value anywhere. The Sunday we chose, the special $20 all included dinner was a very acceptable roast beef and Yorkshire pudding feast. The Beck and Call is a clean, nicely setup restaurant. Food is delicious and Sundays they have a different Buffet every week. Great service and nice servers.
