We tried this placed the other day and the food was good. The staff was super friendly. I noticed that us and others that have never been there, we tried to order using the window but the staff mentioned the menu was on the side of the building and that the girls would come to our table or the car to take our order. What John S doesn't like about Sherald's Drive-in:
I had the double barbecue burger, and the English chips. The burger lacked seasoning and all I could taste was the barbecue sauce which wasn't that great either. The English chips apparently, or some sort of a play on tater tots, but they tasted only like fried batter. Couldn't even find the potato in the middle. View all feedback.
This place was amazing!... Service was fast, food was great and prices were very reasonable. I drove up and someone was at my car taking my order in seconds. I got the double BBQ burger and large fries. My order took about 7 minutes. The food was delicious, fries were fresh and crispy on the outside. The burger patties were juicy and thick perfectly cooked and I wished I would have ordered a side of the onion rings that were on the burger... They were amazing. I really wanted to try some of the Italian sodas our shakes they had an amazing selection and some flavors that looked awesome... But that will half to wait until next time... Extremely aggravated and annoyed with my experience today 10/9/23. Myself and my brother and his two kids had shown up to eat a late lunch around 1:40pm as soon as we pulled up someone came up asking for our order obviously we were not ready yet so I politely asked for a minute to look over the menu. In a matter of 2-3 minutes we all knew what we wanted and were waiting for someone to come take our order. We waited for 45 minutes before we decided it wasn’t worth waiting anymore and of course after I start my vehicle someone finally decided to come back and ask us for our order. We told them no thanks and left. Being completely forgotten about is not acceptable and it was more then just my party that had been forgotten about or waited more than 30 minutes.
It was a hit after my sons mountain bike race. I love the root beer freezes, and we enjoyed burgers and fries and had a good time. The only downside is it’s kind of tiny and parking can be hard to grab in a rush of kids Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
