It is hard to pass up a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store! This particular store is located in the City Creek Mall in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. We stopped in to buy a few sweet treats for a hostess gift. There were so many delicious options to choose from! The Snickers Caramel Apple, a large piece of Chocolate Fudge and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels were perfect! You can never go wrong with sweet treats... View all feedback.
What Ashley Palmer doesn't like about Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory:
I love your ice cream but your workers need to be consistent in mixing things into the ice cream. More than half the time my mix ins aren't mixed in very well at all. View all feedback.

I always come here for a fancy candied apple. They have so many different kinds. So many tasty flavors. I haven't found one yet that I do not like.
This is a great place for some sweet treats. They have a wide selection of caramel apples with or without toppings, chocolate covered strawberries, and all the typical chocolate shop confections. This is also a Coldstone Creamery. Kid-friendliness: Of course the kids loved everything about this place!
We wanted a little chocolate treat for ourselves while on our flight home. The perfect place to pick up that treat was just on the other side of the TSA Airport Security!! Quick purchase. Friendly gal to wait on us! Chocolate....DELICIOUS!!! Go for it!
On my very brief stop in Salt Lake City, I managed to grab a few goodies at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. No regrets whatsoever. Perhaps this was my first time eating at the chain physically inside the Rocky Mountains, but I don’t know if that changed the taste much, lol...delicious no matter what! I opted for two different flavors of bear claws, both of which were satisfying after a long flight from Indianapolis to Utah’s capital. The staff member who served me had an excellent personality and was very efficient. Very soon I hope to return to SLC and do more—and eat at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory again!
