Beautiful that the maryland ang A-10s arrive. hundreds of people watching.
This is a very small airport in Glasgow that is impressively organized, with only six flights per day. There are no queues, and there's a WHSmith where you can grab last-minute items before boarding. Given the current climate of expensive flights from the larger international airports, this airport is a strong contender. Check prices on Skyscanner for yourself and see. Do keep in mind the limited destinations, which include Tenerife, Alicante, Palma, Faro, and Gran Canaria. I'm not sure if they will add more destinations in the summer.
This airport is relatively smaller and more efficient. You can reach it by train, bus, or car. There are no long queues, and check-in is quick. The staff and fellow travelers are friendly. The only downside is that after passing through security, there are no options for a warm meal—only cold sandwiches and beverages are available.
The layout is excellent. It’s just a short walk from the main terminal to the train station and bus stop. Although it wasn’t very busy due to Covid, the parking is a great value. It's just a bit too far from Aberdeen, which is why I'm giving it a 4-star rating.
