Luckily, because we were... read more Had a quick stop in Ayr before heading the the boat. We stumbled across this place completely by accident and we weren’t disappointed. Luckily, because we were early, they were able to squeeze us in before a fully booked evening. The service was brilliant friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding; the cauliflower and halibut were especially good and we were impressed with the portion size for small plates. We would have taken a photo but we ate it too quickly. When we’re back in Ayr, we’ll definitely be coming again.

The menu is small but it is still difficult to choose because of the composition of the dishes. The quality of the food is excellent. My wife and I selected two dishes each which would not normally go together and shared them. It worked here. The staff are pleasantly attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere is just right, a quiet buzz. We loved it.
