The little diner feels like a local landmark, but the food is good enough to hold up against the best anywhere. Everyone was polite and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, and they even had hot sauce on the table. The menu is easy to understand. No gimmicks or hidden stuff. Despite the rural hometown charm, no one bats an eye if a stranger wonders in. Best experience I've had in Kentucky! Parking: I would park on the street and walk up, but there is a small parking lot on the side, and another one about a block away. I asked for the server’s favorite sandwich recommendations, and she mentioned the prime rib hoagie. She did not steer us wrong. Holy cow, that is a good sandwich. I will definitely be back! There was a large group of us and they were able to get us a... read more Never been here before (live out of town and visiting my husband’s family) but we had a great time. There was a large group of us and they were able to get us all together (we called ahead as a courtesy). Food was good and the staff were wonderful. Nice to see small town restaurants thriving and doing so well and will always prefer these over big chains when possible. My only real complaint is that the men’s restroom was not clean at all and I didn’t want to touch anything.
