This is a very chilled yet funky place to have a meal and hang out. The food is very tasty! I had the bibimbap which was delicious! The staff were super friendly as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Merri Clan:
this was once one of the best vegan businesses. it was recently sold and the new owners have completely overlooked the inheritance of the former owners and patrons by adding dead animals to the menu. terrible. updated by previous review on 2022-02-19 View all feedback.
Edit feb 2022: venue is now merri bar and has added animals to the menu. so vegan additional b12 and iron can get when they breathe deep into the kitchen or if the cutlery is not properly cleaned. Hopefully there are some of the old vegan treasures on the menu. or even more hopeful, the new owners watch dominion and change to a 100% vegan joint. = I visited a nearby friend who has backyard cranials, had strangely a request for a kind of vegan mockery. to the happiness was merri clan just a short walk away! the mock chicken burger sounded good, but I had the big mock instead. Mmmm-mmm! Finally, vegan plant-based versions of almost food multinational companies can enjoy how normal people! it was so big that I needed a hippo mouth to eat it. So I chose a dissection approach that revealed fascinating insights into the anatomy and biology of a vegan burger. so delicious! the mockpatties were so authentic, juicy and delicate, they were related to perfection on a good-done level. (way to many vegan farms cook vegan patties only rarely or medium-sized, which were only coarse chips also beautiful, and more ethical than deep freeze is always the most immediate and human method of cooking kartoffels. they also had a few beautiful Lookin-Toughnuts that I couldn't buy because: a) I sat with stuff after I had just eaten the big mock and I had to go to a motherhood station, stat. b) they were outside on the counter and therefore vulnerable to the friendly fire-spread and/or bite as they talk to the personal. please buy them one of these glazed dome. this is a scandal, as I am on a vegan hole foods diet, limiting food choices to donuts, bagels, lifesavers and froot loops. I was in the early days and recently here. the dinge have improved in a definitive way. very relaxed atmosphere with comfortable, groovy, hipster, retro-seats. the convenient bit is the best, as it says, stay n chill n talk for as long as they like nizza sitting area outdoors. Music playlist is good to mainly dub and electronic chill stuffing. I will visit again soon when I get my next northside visitor visa. aloi maak! updated by previous rating on 2022-02-28

Changed owners, meat immediately added and destroys a place that was one of the best vegan restaurants in melbourne.
New owner/management I loved to come for all the details, now I can't recommend another location.
