Usual station pricing but quality is good and staff at every branch ive visited are knowledgeable on the products and friendly. Vegan wholemeal and curry pasties are nice and word from friends that the very wide and interesting range is also very good and worth the £4 price tag which taste wise are 1000 time better than a boxed sandwich that is the usual station offering. What cjmurphyuk doesn't like about West Cornwall Pasty Company:
On the 20th of September, my train was delayed due to the wet and windy weather. Feeling cold and hungry, I decided to try one of the pasties being sold at the station. The prices at this restaurant are typical for a train station, but the quality is good. The staff at all branches I've visited have been knowledgeable about the products and friendly. The vegan wholemeal and curry pasties are delicious. I've heard from friends that the wide and interesting range of options is also very good and worth the £4 price tag. These options are much tastier than the typical boxed sandwich you would find at a train station.

The pasty of the day, Lamb and minted peas, caught my eye as it was priced at only £4 with a complimentary coffee. The pasty was well-made with a crispy pastry and filled with a generous amount of lamb and tender potatoes. However, while the minted peas added a nice touch, I found the overall taste to be lacking in flavor. I had to add some brown sauce to enhance the taste. Despite its blandness, I finished the pasty as I was hungry. If I ever find myself at the station again in a similar situation, I may give the pasties another try in hopes of a more flavorful experience.
Excellent quality ingredients. We had a bacon roll and a sausage and bacon roll with an extra hash brown which we added on top on the roll. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked sausage on a crusty roll. Have been back to the train station since just for this. Latte was ok too.
While waiting for our delayed train from Liverpool to Edinburgh for several hours, hunger struck and I craved something warm and delicious. Despite being stuck in the train station with our luggage, we were limited to dining options at the Preston Station. I stumbled upon the West Cornwall Pastry Company and decided to try their big breakfast deal, which came with a coffee, hash browns, and a Cumberland sausage roll. Although it was fast food, it was surprisingly tasty, satisfying, and definitely worth ordering again. When hunger strikes, you have to eat, and dining here was a pleasant experience.
