While some diners praised attentive staff and delightful meals, others faced considerable delays, inadequate food quality, and unhygienic conditions. Complaints included long waits for orders, misunderstandings about menu items, and unclean tables and restrooms. In stark contrast, positive experiences celebrated prompt service, flavorful dishes, and a pleasant atmosphere. As diners share their thoughts, it is evident that this establishment must address critical issues to ensure a consistently satisfying experience for all patrons.
I visited the restaurant today and had to wait 15 minutes for a table, which was fine as we were informed about it at the door. However, waiting 45 minutes for our two main dishes was not acceptable. If we had known there would be a delay in getting our food, we would have gone to KFC instead since we were in a hurry to be somewhere. Many other tables were also inquiring about the wait time for their food. It appeared that there was no manager or leader on duty to take control, and the staff looked unhappy.
Second time visiting. Got to mention a few people that made our visit great. Cam, Yarinda and Kulli. These people made our visit stunning. Food piping hot and tasty. Crispy garlic bread! Fresh salad. The place is filthy. The food is dry. Wouldn’t recommend this Nandos to anybody. Can’t comment on the kitchen but wouldn’t want to see it as it would probably make me sick.
Unfortunately we keep getting let down by Nando’s every time we visit and finally this will be our last. Hygiene in all of its Preston restaurants is seriously lacking. We were served by a waitress with extremely long fake nails who accidentally dropped some of our chips onto the counter when lifting up the plate and picked them up with her long talons and put them back on the plate then served them to us. The counter was dirty and she shouldn’t be handling food with nails like this when touching food. There is also a theme in these restaurants for staff having long beards that are around food cooking food. These should be covered with a hair net. Something really needs to be done about training staff the basics of hygiene.
The entire team provided fantastic service. They truly understood our needs and all our food arrived at the same time. We were also able to choose our preferred seats.
