I only stopped by for two pots of tea. There was a customer ahead of me and it took ten minutes before I was attended to. There was only one person handling payments. The staff were rather unfriendly and impolite. This is not the level of service I would expect from a restaurant like M@S, which has a reputation for excellence. View all feedback.
Today at 2:30 a.m. cafe was quietly queued twice as long normal for 2 drinks, which were then brought on our table a person only behind the counter a person who traces trace data to various employees who supply tablets to table. I have brought my older mother to a table because she could no longer stand up the table service agreements meant that I was close to a family that children were not made to social distance much longer, as usual?
Very nice set up and very good social distance and very spaced out and the staff serving you is excellent would be coming back a again
My mum loves coming to M&S. We go to the cafe first. Today as usual, there is a queue. 1 member of staff not enough. Poor girl is swamped with customers. Why is it difficult to get staff? Please- we love M&S however you must...be prepared to meet the demand!! The store is packed full of lovely goods but customers want to sit and have a coffee too!! Please please more help with extra staff!! It isn't fair on existing staff.
Called in to cafe whilst out shopping. Disappointing- lots of tables hadn't been cleared or wiped, floor was dirty too. Long wait for food even though cafe wasn't extremely busy.
