Description

This restaurant offers a blend of culinary delights and disheartening missteps, presenting an inconsistent experience for diners. While some patrons enjoy friendly service and reasonably priced meals, others encounter significant service issues, such as missing items and inadequate food quality. The atmosphere remains a strong point, with a clean and welcoming environment. Notably, highlights include well-prepared dishes like the Steak and Ruddles Ale pie and Quadzilla burger, though some meals disappoint with poor execution. Overall, while a few shining reviews commend the charm and value, lingering concerns about consistency may deter repeat visits.

The food is delicious and the service is fast. The staff is very friendly. We have decided that this will be our go-to restaurant for family meals from now on.

Excellent prices, pleasant service and overall good value. If you like pies the Steak and Ruddles Ale pie is a winner! Breakfast options pretty varied too and especially good value if included in your room rate.

Okay where do I **** start with this. So firstly, ordering etc was fine. No issues. But then immediately the errors begin. I order a Sunday roast, Turkey. Which came without roast potatoes. Not so bad, not an easy mistake to make on a roast dinner but I let it go. Then my wife has a roast beef Yorkshire wrap, warm on the outside icicle in the middle. Send that back, gets a new one which is now hotter than the molten core of the earth, must have been to emphasis the point which the missus also didn’t like as it had some inedible bits in it. Kids meals were okay. Dessert, ordered vegan ice cream with fruit. Missing the strawberries and strawberry sauce. Sends it back, comes with sauce and no strawberries. Jobs worth gets some strawberries and brings them chopped up. Orders the ice cream mania or whatever it is for kids, comes without biscuits and cream. I mean Ffs It is YOUR menu how do you not know what is supposed to be on it. Why should I have to correct you at every single turn?? And when I bring it back to get it sorted I’m getting dirty looks?? I’m not the one who can’t do my job right. Where’s the customer service? I even said that we weren’t impressed with and I just get a sorry, normally there’d be a partial refund but no. Anyway enough of my ramble. I won’t be coming back here despite visiting over the years.

The service at this restaurant is quick and the staff is friendly. It was quiet today. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The selection of drinks is good and reasonably priced as well. Keep an eye out for their offers, they are worth it.

We used to be regular customers at this restaurant, but our last visit was disappointing due to a fly infestation. Flies were everywhere, landing on our food. The quality of the food was not up to par, and we were surprised to find out they charge £1.29 for sweet chilli sauce.
