Called in for a lunchtime snack whilst visiting Preston for the day. I had a meat pie and my wife had a butter onion pie. Very tasty and superb value for money. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Galloways Bakers:
During our recent visit to Preston for some shopping, my wife suggested Galloways for a quick bite to eat. She had been there years ago when she took our daughter to university. She ordered a large and delicious chicken muffin, while I opted for a burnt meat pie that was disappointing. Galloways definitely takes pride in their presentation before serving their dishes. I usually take my own lunch to work, but for the chance I didn't prepare anything that I'm getting here on the way to work and know that I get a nice fresh sandwich to lunch. there were already some sandwiches, mostly plastered. and thunfish (I eat neither) my man loves the ham salad from here, so I asked for a ham salad. entirely in my right to do this (there is a sign that says if they can not see what they want to ask and they will do it). Now, all the sighs and the ton of what she said made me feel like I asked too much of her. at the end I chose a finished sandwich from the refrigerator for me, which is not really what I wanted because I felt so uncomfortable that I was asked about the sandwich of my man. then another sigh and a face made because I paid with a £20. in consideration this is 2019 and this shop is not yet taking card is frustrating, especially if I had to go to the cash machine above all and £20 is what the machine gave me. all this experience I was the only customer in the shop, they would have thought she would have been pricked! I visited this load at 8:10. when more customers came before they even took their orders, they told them that they could not pay with a £20 note because many customers had paid for small amounts with £20. my bill came to £6.90 I am hesitant to come back when I am made to this uncomfortable order my lunch feeling again.
Good quality and selection of food always available if not staff willing to make up things for you. 5*
Went into shop and the woman who served me was appalling her attitude was disgraceful. The big lady who I think was the manager was just as bad. Food cold poor quality never again will I go in shop.

Great value £1.50 for a great bacon/sausage barm, also various combinations available including pies and usual bakery items, good quality and great value.
