We visited for the Halloween spooky woodland walk, which was enjoyable, and then stayed for an early tea. The setting is delightful, the bar is cozy, and the service was exceptional. We really liked our food; it was delicious and reasonably priced given the lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Bartle Hall for both large and small groups. View all feedback.
What Hazel doesn't like about Bartle Hall:
We visited for the Halloween walk and decided to have lunch beforehand. The homemade pie was excellent, while the children's chicken dish was good but a bit pricey for a child at over £8. The head waiter wore his mask improperly, just covering his mouth and not his nose. There was plenty of space around our table. However, we had to wait quite a while to settle our bill, which suggested they were a bit short-staffed.... View all feedback.
Perfect setting for any special occasion. The food was exceptional. Extremely pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend
Fabulous food and service in a lovely setting, highly recommend
Would recommend although there was a reduced menu due to the current Coronavirus pandemic.
The chef is very good, and the kitchen served some excellent combinations. Whatever's on the menu, just go for it and enjoy! Very nice lounge to relax in before and afterwards, with very polite and helpful staff. Thanks!
Lovely ambiance. Excellent safety procedures. Helpful and attentive staff. Great food! Very enjoyable. Our second visit in two weeks!
