Have visited this cafe/bar several times and always been very pleased with the food and quick service. You can get the Menu du jour for 13 euros, this is for 5 courses including a half carafe of wine. We have always enjoyed the food very much. It is always busy because of its good reputation and especially popular with passing truck drivers. Well worth a visit. View all feedback.
What M Alain doesn't like about chez Francine:
Very bad experience.Insipid food at all levels. All is frozen. Meat is not of good quality and certainly not of first freshness. It is almost indecent to ask 13 euros for quality/quantity for a menu.I have certainly fallen a bad day when I see the opinions of other people ...... hope the....Good reception however. We'd never have gone before. do not pay for mine, and in fact: home cooking, simple welcome, quiet,...More
From far the place does not pay a mine, we stopped there during a walk to lunch without too much conviction but for the price there was no risk. and we have taken it, the reception is friendly, the kitchen is simple and good. The atmosphere and service are friendly. If you pass through pressac and you don't know or eat at francine is a good alternative.
We went on the recommendation of friends who live in the area and had a lovely meal. A mixture of workers, couples and families come in for the daily dish which will vary depending on what is on offer. Laid back with good food.
Yes - very basic but great food and atmosphere . and the locals make you feel at home. so worth a stop if you are passing
History of forgetting the road and the trucks, we went through the center of pressac instead of taking the bypass, well we took it: very pretty little Romanesque church of the XIIth century with memory of a miracle that took place there, in front of francine, small restaurant after the bar in calm, very nice and good, to the very good value of price, so not to forget.
