My partner and I have visited this cafe multiple times, hoping to support the only small business in the area to offer vegan options, but we have come away each time feeling severely let down. The food, staff, and service at this restaurant are all top-notch! The scones and baked goods are fantastic. Visiting is always a delightful experience.
Country Roots is a standout in Northern Maine for vegan desserts. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and also picked up some items from the store. The food was flavorful and it was enjoyable to have a wide selection to choose from without any concerns. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic. Well done, keep up the great work!
If you're looking for unique ingredients like soybeans and gum flour that are hard to find elsewhere, this is the place to go. While some items can be on the pricier side, I suggest trying their smoothies or specialty products that you wouldn't find for a better price at your usual grocery store.
