we drove an hour and a half to taste this Italian restaurant and it was worth the ride. the food was excellent and the service was the best we had in a long time. the atmosphere is warm and cozy as they would expect in a mom and pop restaurant. the two pictures I published, one is of the lasagne and the other of the chicago style deep teller pizza. both were very delicious! I suggest that they try this place and if t... View all feedback.

One of the best dining experiences we had on our trip to Prescott. Food was FABULOUS. Service was friendly and FABULOUS. Ambiance was FABULOUS. Food was an amazing VALUE. When asking a few people where the best ITALIAN FOOD was in Prescott, the universal answer was Papa?s. It was a short drive from our Airbnb and parking was simple. It was down the street from Peregrine Books, a fantastic little book store we went to earlier in the week. Before I describe the food, please know that reservations are suggested, especially on weekends or peak times. Okay, this is all for my public service announcements. Now on to the food: Bread complimentary, hard crust served with soft butter. Minestrone Soup complimentary, brought out by Mama herself. Delightful soup with diced vegetables, rolled pasta and sausage. It is a good way to start a meal. It takes her 3 hours just to simmer it each day. Caesar Salad good, really good, but maybe a little more cheese than I am used to. Still ate all of it. Chicken Prosciutto lightly breaded chicken, topped with prosciutto, cheese and served over pasta with Alfredo. My son would not share and the portions were huge. Portobello Mushroom Ravioli chewy and flavorful mushrooms in a cheese sauce that you will want bread to soak up. Cassava Cake lemon caked with cream, cherries and chocolate chips. I loved it, but did not love the chocolate chips although they did add a certain crunch. Mama even checked on us and took time to make sure our meal was good. She was a delight, as was the army of staff that made sure food came out hot, dishes were removed and drinks were refilled. Just a very pleasant experience. On a BUDGET: Choose an entree and it comes with soup or salad. Want to Splurge: Skip the appetizer (you will be too full) and order an entree, dessert and pair with a drink or bottle of wine. We skipped the alcohol, but had everything else and only spent less than $60 for the two of us.
Service was great and the food was absolutely amazing. Already had high expectations from what others had said about it. Went above and beyond those expectations!! Definitely make reservations before you go. This place is understandably in high demand.
This place was absolutely delicious. We were looking for a spot to eat in Prescott, AZ and were kind of worried to try something local but thank goodness we found this spot. Everything we tried had great flavor. We had their calamari as an appetizer and it was pretty delicious. It was different because this one didn't come with Marinara sauce but I didn't mind it because of the yellow banana peppers, gave it a great flavor. For my entree I had the stuffed portobello mushroom raviolis. The plate comes with 7 total raviolis and had a great bell pepper creamy taste. The minestrone house soup was absolutely delicious! Loved that it had a bunch of veggies and had a great tomato sauce flavor. Not over powering. For desert I had to have the spa mini ice cream! You can't get it anywhere. I've had it at other places but by far this one was the best. Will be visiting again!
I don't know how we've missed this wonderful restaurant before now. We came in not knowing we should have a reservation but the lady very kindly found us a wonderful little table for two. Our waiter, Aaron was so kind and seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. To start, the bread and garlic butter were delicious. My husband had the Chicken Margherita and side of Minestrone. He said both were just amazing. I had the Portabello Mushroom stuffed Ravioli and house salad. Also so delicious. Desserts we had were Cheesecake and Tiramisu. Yummy. We've been to Tuscany and had true authetic Italian cuisine. Would say this restaurant is about as close to that as you can find. We can't wait to come back again.
