Modest, authentic style Mexican. More Sonoran than I'm used to, there are several uncommon items on the menu. Very small inside, good prices. You can order for take away also.
The food is pretty good for the price. The shredded beef tacos and burrito was excellent. Most items are priced under $10. Maya restaurant has a fun cozy atmosphere.
I grew up going to Maya at least bimonthly. Now I visit every time I’m back in town. #34 fajitas seafood is the best Mexican dish I have ever had anywhere. Their chips and salsa are so addictive- love the fresh fried chips. BYOB is great for those on a budget, on top of already great menu prices! This year when I visit we’ll be getting takeout due to Covid, and I expect it will taste just as great in the comfort of our home!
100% serious when i say, best salsa I've ever had at a Mexican food place. No joke.
